WHAT IS LBR?

Lavender Blue Radio — Surrealist sounds from a surrealist perspective.

Tune in bi-weekly, Saturdays from 7–9 PM on WSLR 96.5 FM.

Each show is a reflection of where I am—what I’m thinking, feeling, creating, and the sounds that are inspiring me. It’s my way of connecting with the community through music and honest storytelling.

Every month, I invite local artists and creatives to share their artist's perspective. LBR gives them the space to speak, be heard, and connect with our community.

WHAT IS WSLR + FOGARTYVILLE?

WSLR+Fogartyville is a center for creative expression and community engagement that amplifies the voices of our diverse community, and promotes peace, sustainability, democracy, and economic & social justice.

WSLR is an innovative, listener-supported nonprofit, noncommercial FM radio station dedicated to serving the Sarasota community.  WSLR features locally produced programming and events that present cultural, artistic and political perspectives currently underrepresented in the media.  Our goal is to inform and empower listeners to play an active role in WSLR and in their community.  WSLR promotes equality, peace, sustainability, democracy, health, and social and economic justice.
